Cost Sharing Reductions and Premium Assistance is renewable for qualified insureds on their 2016 plans, but only if certain criteria are met. Last year we assisted many healthcare insurance subscribers receive a federal tax credit or income-based cost sharing reduction (CSR) to assist in keeping the cost of medical care affordable. The benefits do have certain requirements and if you received one of these benefits, we want to make you aware of a deadline to file your 2014 tax return with a form 8962. Without this compliance, you will lose your 2016 subsidy.  Please talk to your tax advisor about filing your 2014 tax return with the Form 8962 before the end of August each year.
